3. Use of cookies

auticon’s website uses cookies. Cookies are files that are stored on the user’s computer system by a browser. When a page is accessed, the cookies can be transferred to the accessed page, making it possible to identify the user.

4. Creation of log files

Every time the website is accessed, auticon collects data and information with an automated system and stores it in the server’s log files.

The automated system can collect the following data:

  • The user’s operating system
  • The user’s internet service provider
  • The user’s IP address
  • Date and time of access
  • Referring websites

The purpose of processing the data is to supply our website content, optimize our website and ensure our information technology systems are working properly. Log file data is always stored separately from the users’ other personal data. Log files are automatically deleted or anonymized after 7 days.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest to operate our website and to monitor and maintain its security and integrity.

There is a contact form on our website that can be used to contact us electronically. Alternatively, we can also be contacted through the email address that we have provided. If you contact us through one of these channels, the personal data you send will be stored automatically for up to 7 years. These data are stored and processed exclusively for the purpose of dealing with your request or contacting you.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest to communicate with visitors of our website.

6. Erasure and blocking of personal data

We process and/or store your personal data only as long as necessary to achieve the purpose of storing and/or processing the data. The data may be stored beyond that period where it is prescribed by European or national lawmakers in Union regulations, laws or other rules governing the controller.

Once the purpose of storing the data no longer applies and any applicable mandatory retention periods have expired, the personal data will be blocked or erased as a matter of routine.

7. Your right to object

You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR. We will then no longer process the personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims (Art. 21 GDPR).

You have the right to request confirmation from us as to whether personal data relating to you are being processed; if this is the case, you have a right to information about these personal data and the information listed in detail in Art. 15 GDPR.

You have the right to demand that we correct any inaccurate personal data concerning you and, if necessary, complete any incomplete personal data without delay (Art. 16 GDPR).

You have the right to demand that we delete personal data relating to you without delay, provided that one of the reasons listed in detail in Art. 17 GDPR applies, e.g. if the data are no longer required for the purposes pursued (right to erasure).

You have the right to demand that we restrict processing if one of the conditions listed in Art. 18 GDPR applies, e.g. if you have objected to the processing, while we review this request.

You have the right to receive from us the data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format. You may transfer these data or have them transferred to other entities (right to data portability).

Furthermore, without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of personal data concerning you infringes the GDPR (Article 77 GDPR).
