David Aspinall, the CEO of auticon US, was honored as a 2023 Leader in Diversity by the Dallas Business Journal. David accepted the award at a luncheon on February 23, 2023, in Dallas, Texas.
The Leaders in Diversity Awards “celebrate organizations and individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to promoting practices that advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace and in business leadership and who bolster equality across all areas of diversity.”
David is a longtime Fort Worth resident who holds an MBA from the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University (TCU). He is also a leader in the local business community, including as a Board Member of the Fort Worth chapter of YPO, the global leadership community of CEOs. The award recognized his leadership of auticon’s mission to address unemployment in the autistic community by providing high-quality technology careers to autistic adults.
David also spoke with Alexa Reed of the Dallas Business Journal about his career and auticon’s work. When asked, “What opportunity for your company over the next year hasyou most excited?” he replied, “Expanding our neuroinclusion services that help companies assess, improve, and measure their inclusion of autistic and neurodivergent employees. I’m excited that more companies are embracing this important aspect of DEI because it means that more of their employees—both current and future—will be appropriately supported and able to thrive.”
