We’re proud to share that auticon Italia has been awarded the Leonardo Committee’s Premio Leonardo Impresa Sociale 2025!

This prestigious recognition celebrates our mission to unlock the incredible talents of autistic individuals in the digital and tech sectors. The Leonardo Committee highlighted how auticon fosters the professional development of neurodivergent workers while helping companies build more inclusive environments.

The award was presented in Rome during National Made in Italy Day, in the presence of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Vice-Premier Antonio Tajani, and Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso — a powerful moment for our team and our mission.

As Alberto Balestrazzi, CEO of auticon Italia, shared:

“Neurodiversity is not a fragility, but a resource. Autism is simply a different ‘operating system’ of the human being. To work well together doesn’t require extraordinary or expensive interventions — it requires a change of perspective. And every day, we prove that change is not only possible but powerful.”

On 2nd April, auticon Italia had the honour of bringing its perspective to the Italian Senate during the press conference, presenting the bill for the introduction of the Certificate of Inclusion, an initiative promoted by Senator Maurizio Gasparri. The prompts legislation seeks to shift the employment of persons with disabilities from being merely a regulatory obligation to being recognised and rewarded as a valuable asset.

auticon Italia is also proud to participate in the panel of experts, sponsored by the Guarantor Authority for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which will support the parliamentary process. The aim is to develop an inclusive, widely shared framework that welcomes contributions from businesses, experts and associations.

As part of its broader commitment to fostering inclusive workplaces, auticon Italia also takes part in the ELIS Consortium’s Includere per Crescere project, an initiative that encourages collaboration between major industrial groups and inclusive enterprises, with the shared goal of creating a positive and lasting impact through meaningful labour inclusion.

Congratulations to our colleagues at auticon Italia, and thank you to all our clients, partners, and team members who support our global mission and believe in a future where everyone can thrive at work.
