Workbuddy

“As a newcomer to an assignment or a workplace, it is important to feel safe and supporteed. At Unicus, we believe that this can be ensured in large part through knowing that there is always someone to ask any questions. Something that has proven to work very well is the “Workbuddy” concept

 

This means that all our consultants have a specified person at the customer workplace who supports their everyday work in various ways. A person who is organizationally close and with whom the consultant can feel safe and supported. Someone to turn to with questions about tasks, priorities but also questions such as “what was actually said at the meeting”, “is it important to have coffee with them today”….

 

In many workplaces, there might already be a similar role called something in the lines of “mentor”.
