We have reviewed our current policies and practices in the context of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and summarise findings below:
All our employees are paid above minimum wage and receive in excess of the statutory entitlement to paid leave. We believe that we take the necessary steps to provide a safe working environment for all employees, including those employees working at client premises. We operate flexible working policies within certain guidelines and ensure that we consider all requests for flexible working or adjustments in hours.
Consultants are our largest employee group, currently around 65% of our workforce. auticon exclusively recruits people on the autism spectrum as our consultants. In addition to the support provided by their line manager, all consultants are supported by a job coach. Job coaches are employed by auticon and work to ensure that consultants have a positive experience of working for us.
We have a small supply chain of companies that provide facilities, office space equipment, pensions and health insurance. We do not outsource any part of our operations to subcontractors and do not currently employ agency workers.
