unicus technologists annotated plant images that enabled machine learning models to distinguish weeds from crops.
The company needed large volumes of accurately annotated images to differentiate between grass and dicot weeds in order to train new machine learning models. They needed this data quickly to meet their yearly development goals.
unicus provided a team of autistic technologists who annotated images to teach the machine learning algorithm how to distinguish between background, weeds, crops and cereals. Their work enabled the client to train several versions of the model for different image conditions.
Working with them, my experience was really good. They were really fast in responding and if we had any complaint or we had anything to raise with them they would respond super quick and take care of that.
