SEB is a leading Swedish financial services group with complex IT infrastructure supporting pension and insurance products. The project was led by Annika Thernsjö, a long-time IT leader within SEB Technology.

SEB needed to reactivate a legacy application, but after the original developer left, internal teams struggled to maintain or understand it. The risk of operational stagnation grew while attempts to resolve the issue failed.
