We’re looking for Platform & Quality Engineers at all levels who want to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team, combining skills in software development, software testing, AI/ML, and DevOps to deliver impactful, scalable solutions.
What You’ll Do
As a Software Engineer – Quality & Platform, you will work as part of a collaborative engineering team building and maintaining modern enterprise platforms.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining software components and platform services
- Collaborating with software engineers, QA specialists, data engineers, and product owners
- Developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks and test suites
- Building and supporting CI/CD pipelines
- Supporting the deployment and operation of cloud-native applications
- Applying DevOps practices to improve reliability, security, and operational efficiency
- Working with APIs, databases, and distributed systems
- Contributing to platform observability, monitoring, and performance improvement
- Participating in code reviews, testing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Sharing knowledge and contributing to a collaborative engineering culture
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Be autistic, have a formal autism diagnosis or candidates currently undergoing assessment are also encouraged to contact us to discuss their circumstances.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, quality engineering, DevOps, or a related discipline
- Strong software development skills in one or more languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or similar
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and quality engineering practices
- Experience working with APIs, databases, and modern software development methodologies
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative engineering team
Desirable
- Experience with AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, Kinesis, or EMR
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, or Grafana
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, BlazeMeter, k6, or LoadRunner
- Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, SerenityBDD, Postman, REST Assured, or similar
- Experience with .NET Core and REST API development
- Experience with Angular or other modern frontend frameworks
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell
- Experience with Snowflake, Apache Iceberg, or modern data platform technologies
- Understanding of data mesh concepts and data product thinking
