What You’ll Do

As an AI Prompt Engineer at auticon, you will work as part of a collaborative team delivering AI and automation solutions for enterprise clients.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Designing, developing, and refining prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Creating prompt frameworks that improve consistency, quality, and scalability
• Translating business requirements into effective AI-driven solutions
• Testing, evaluating, and optimising AI outputs
• Supporting the implementation of AI solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, and Azure AI
• Contributing to deployment, governance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement activities
• Developing reusable prompt libraries, templates, and best practices
• Collaborating with software engineers, data professionals, product owners, and client stakeholders
• Sharing knowledge and contributing to the growth of our AI capabilities

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• Be autistic and have a formal autism diagnosis. Candidates currently undergoing assessment are also encouraged to contact us to discuss their circumstances.
• Experience in AI, software engineering, data, automation, or a related technology field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Experience working with AI tools, Large Language Models, or prompt engineering techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to create clear, structured, and effective prompts, instructions, and documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Experience testing, validating, and improving AI-generated outputs

Desirable

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Azure AI, or similar AI platforms
• Programming or scripting experience (e.g. Python, JavaScript, or similar)
• Understanding of APIs, JSON, and structured data
• Experience working in agile delivery environments
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Experience building AI-powered enterprise solutions
• Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, embeddings, or AI search technologies
• Understanding of data architecture concepts such as Dataverse or data pipelines
